2025 marks PressBox’s ninth annual Best Of edition celebrating the top people, performances and moments of the year.
Best Swan Song
Well, Bob Babb certainly didn’t limp to the finish line with Johns Hopkins baseball.
The Blue Jays went 44-5 with a plus-278 run differential in 2025, Babb’s 46th and final year at the helm. The longtime head coach finished his career with 1,346 wins, 19 Centennial Conference championships and seven trips to the Division III College World Series.
Nate Mulberg, most recently an assistant coach at Richmond, has taken over as the head coach at Johns Hopkins.
