2025 marks PressBox’s ninth annual Best Of edition celebrating the top people, performances and moments of the year.
Best Brotherly Battle
The story of Davidsonville natives, Boys’ Latin alums and former Loyola sports stars Pat and Cam Spencer continues to be one of the best in local sports history.
In January, the two squared off against each other for the first time in the NBA, with Pat’s Warriors coming out on top against Cam’s Grizzlies in San Francisco. The duo briefly guarded each other and exchanged jerseys after.
Things got even better for Cam when he agreed to a four-year, $10.5 million contract with Memphis in July.
