2022 marks PressBox’s sixth annual Best Of edition celebrating the top people, performances and moments of the year.
Best Domination
The only team in the area more dominant than Maryland men’s lacrosse in the past year was the CCBC Essex women’s basketball team, which went 35-1 during the 2021-22 season en route to a third-place finish in the NJCAA Division II Women’s Basketball Championship. The average score of a Knights game was 100.7-50.5. Twin sisters and Long Reach grads Jaelyn and Lyric Swann combined to average 33.2 points per game for CCBC Essex.
