2022 marks PressBox’s sixth annual Best Of edition celebrating the top people, performances and moments of the year.
D’Ago Hunter
It’s usually not a problem for football fans to take their eyes off a kick return these days. But Towson fans couldn’t take their eyes off CAA Special Teams Player of the Year D’Ago Hunter, who returned two kicks and one punt for touchdowns for a six-win Tigers team in the fall. The redshirt senior averaged 24.6 yards per kick return and 16.3 yards per punt return. His biggest play came at Monmouth in late October, when a 92-yard kick return touchdown in the fourth quarter helped Towson to a 52-48 win.
