2023 marks PressBox’s seventh annual Best Of edition celebrating the top people, performances and moments of the year.

Maryland football’s 31-9 win at Michigan State included what appeared to be a routine goal-line play: play-action fake, roll right and find the wide-open fullback for a score.
But the touchdown catch by fifth-year man Sean Greeley was the culmination of years of hard work. A walk-on from Havre de Grace High School, he earned a scholarship as a linebacker ahead of the 2022 season and expanded his role to the offensive side in 2023.
His performance against the Spartans made him the third FBS player since 2012 to catch an offensive touchdown and force a fumble in the same game.
