For Joe Battaglia, Goals Stay The Same In Fourth Year Of Leading Concordia Prep Football
Now entering his fourth season at Concordia Prep, football coach Joe Battaglia says the team’s goals are the same. “Our goal every year is to win the league,” Battaglia said. “I’ve just always felt like that should be your goal is to win the league that you play in, so that that will never change.”

Football coaches Joe Battaglia and Scott Van Zile are going back to high school. Battaglia was an assistant at six different college programs before taking over as the head coach at Concordia Prep; Van Zile was an assistant at the college level for 20 years before taking over at St. Paul’s.
