We’re used to seeing some vicious blocks in Army-Navy game, but how about men’s basketball?
During the first half of the Mids’ 77-71 win in West Point in January, Black Knights guard Isaiah Caldwell had what appeared to be a clear lane to the basket after picking Austin Benigni’s pocket. However, Navy forward Daniel Deaver sprinted down the floor to meet Caldwell at the rim for a high-flying block, preventing what would have been a massive dunk.
The block ranked No. 2 on SportsCenter’s Top 10 Plays the next morning.
