It goes without saying that the Ravens have … not always prioritized the wide receiver position.
But after signing Odell Beckham Jr. in April, they weren’t done. They used the 22nd pick in the 2023 NFL Draft on Boston College wide receiver Zay Flowers, who made an immediate impact by making 58 catches during the first 12 games, easily passing Torrey Smith’s Ravens rookie record of 50 receptions.
One pick earlier, the Chargers took TCU receiver Quentin Johnston, who was largely a non-factor during the same time frame.
