Whether Towson would win the East Atlantic Gymnastics League Championships in March for the first time in program history came down to whether Lauren Keener could score a 9.85 or better on her last balance beam routine in the final routine period. She came through with a 9.9.
Then came the NCAA Regionals against Penn State, during which she placed fifth in the balance beam routine with a 9.8. Here’s hoping there are more big moments in store for 2024.
