2023 marks PressBox’s seventh annual Best Of edition celebrating the top people, performances and moments of the year.
Best New Venue
Baltimore Peninsula is one of the fastest-growing neighborhoods in the city and added a significant cornerstone this year. During the summer, Under Armour Stadium at The House officially opened.
It is in part a track facility but much more importantly the stadium immediately became home to high school sports events at both the public and private school levels.
It became the new home field for St. Frances’ nationally ranked football team and hosted the MIAA Soccer Championships as well as other events for schools like City, Poly, Mervo and Digital Harbor, among others.
