This is the time of the year I am going to stress rostering as many of the handcuff running backs listed below. Stashing a handcuff running back in case of an injury is more valuable than a fifth wide receiver.
Michael Carter, RB, Arizona Cardinals: This is the fourth different Cardinals running back that I have listed this season. Carter had 14 carries for 56 yards and added another 38 yards on four receptions. He played 53 snaps, compared to just seven for Emari Demercado. Carter could end up being the championship darling fantasy managers need to get over the top.
Jawhar Jordan, RB, Houston Texans: Another running back way down in the depth chart just weeks ago is Jordan, who saw his first touches of the season on Sunday. He took over for an injured Woody Marks, who was already expected to take on a bigger role with Nick Chubb out. Jordan turned 17 touches into 118 yards, and showed explosiveness in his opportunity. If Marks and Chubb are out in Week 16, Jordan becomes a FLEX play for all teams.
