2025 marks PressBox’s ninth annual Best Of edition celebrating the top people, performances and moments of the year.

The foundation of the Ravens-Steelers rivalry is tough, hard-nosed football. In more recent years the games have been a bit more high-scoring, but the Ravens’ January playoff win proved to be a bit of a throwback.
Leading 7-0 when they got the ball at their own 15 early in the second quarter, the Ravens began their possession with a 1-yard run from Derrick Henry. Then Lamar Jackson ran the ball on second down and Mark Andrews on third down and … 10 more run plays.
Henry’s 8-yard touchdown scamper finished a 13-play, 85-yard, 7:56 drive — all of which came on the ground.
